Syfy的《#零异频道# Channel Zero》早已续订第三及第四季，而电视台公布第三季副标题为《屠杀区 Butcher’s Block》。预定18年播出的第三季由Kerry Hammon所着的Creepypasta（转贴恐怖故事﹑都市传说）「Search and Rescue Woods」所启发。 《屠杀区》讲述女主Alice（Olivia Luccardi饰）搬到新城市，她发现市内一连串失踪事件可能跟一个恶劣社区中的神秘楼梯传言有关。在主角姐姐的协助下，她发现真相是有某「东西」正在猎食市内的居民。。Finding herself the victim of a violent monster attack, Jane launches a vigilante campaign to hunt the beast that tried to kill her.
