离开苗家多年的阿榜，回到故乡山寨，起初不适应山里的生活，后来在姐妹们和苗族小伙合当、台湾帅哥冠筠的帮助下，置身在“姊妹节”浓郁的节日气氛里，感受到民族文化的魅力，回归到淳朴精神家园。An oil company is drilling in a small town and suddenly they face volcanic eruption. This seems a small event at first sight but soon it becomes clear that it is the start of a long chain of eruptions. In the movie we see people rushing to save their lives and gradually it becomes a global phenomena that has ability to enfulf the whole globe。
