影片讲述的是海军上尉唐岩在探亲时意外救助一位被拐卖、沦为乞丐的盲童如光，如光病愈后唐岩把他送进军民共建单位市盲人学校读书，唐岩在盲校做义工的过程中与学校美丽善良的音乐老师乔娅互生爱慕，最终有情人终成眷属；同时，音乐老师乔娅全力培养如光成为钢琴家，在社会各界的帮助下，如光和母亲在失散多年后终于母子重逢。。林安琪（易佳憓饰），钟宝贝（马䲰娗饰），汪云林（黄慧燕饰）是认识很久的死党。三人因在中学时无法实现英式女篮区域赛冠军的梦想，只好相约在大学时一起重新追梦。没想到事与愿违，云林居然考不进约定的大学，反而上了敌对大学，与安琪和宝贝成了竞争对手。。A wagon load of convicts on their way to prison is being escorted through the mountains by a cavalry troop.
