民国初年，鱼龙混杂，三教九流聚集的黑桃城出了件蹊跷事，才貌双全的春天姑娘莫名其妙地失踪了，一时间众说纷纭。老实巴交的顺子来到大王庄的地主王大猫家做长工，不料却遭暗算，被骗签下卖身契，使得其营救恋人春天的计划困难重重。王大猫识破顺子的伎俩，决定借军阀k大帅之手杀掉他。顺子被军阀部队押赴刑场，王大猫则欢天喜地要与春天入洞房。危机关头，顺子凭借过人的智慧化险为夷，他重返大王庄，决心与地主好好斗一斗……。Thomas Arslan's second feature film and part of his Berlin-trilogy is a slow-paced milieu study of German-Turkish youth in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
