本剧主要讲述了北平的年轻律师司徒颜（胡一天饰）坚守法理被罢职，来到哈尔滨成为一名侦探，在一起起接踵而至的案件中，结识了直来直去的富少好友骆少川（张云龙饰），并和敢爱敢恨的周墨婉（张馨予饰）相识相知，一起挖到大阴谋的故事。。White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。
