相传佛祖座下大鹏鸟私下凡间作恶，佛祖派遣使者追捕，与大鹏鸟展开惨烈恶斗。五百年后，一名男子负伤倒卧荒野，被小镇绣庄女工陆菁儿救回，自此当上绣庄与染坊的小工。男子梦中巧遇高僧慧远，解开身世之谜，记起本名为李修缘，并与昔日好友方志朋相认。修缘跟女捕快苏柔成为冤家，二人在连番斗气中暗生情愫，菁儿也向修缘表露心迹。后来小镇陷入黑妖危机，修缘决意放下俗念，拯救苍生。原来一切皆是因果循环，早有天意。。The Moliere players are in their dressing room, getting ready to go on set. One actor mentions to another that his face reminds him of an opportunist turncoat he knew when he was in the Resistance. He then relates the adventure that he had in the Resistance, running an illegal radio station and dodging the Nazis.。
