二十世纪印年代，我国连续三年遭遇严重的自然灾害，一大批南方孤儿无家可归，衣食无着。在党中央、国务院周总理和乌兰夫等同志的亲切关怀下，将这些孤儿辗转千里送到内蒙古大草原，落户到草原牧人家中。同样困难的牧民，以草原一样博大的胸怀接纳了孤儿。在草原人民的精心哺育下，孤儿们茁壮成长，长大成人。。Documentary which take as subject the Oberhausen Group and New German Cinema, and some of those who followed in their footsteps.
