Set in the country-town of Upson Down, the comedy drama follows eleven-year-old Annie Shearer and her adopted stray dog Runt, as they try to save the family farm by competing in the Agility Course Grand。村中受到欺压的沈倩和哑巴母亲被逼到山崖，沈倩为救母亲掉落山崖被救，五年后成为总裁准备回乡开发项目，并寻找丢失的记忆，母亲在村中被凌辱了5年，村长为掩盖事实欲将哑母送走，并找到来骗子假扮女总裁母亲，经过重重考验沈倩终于揭露坏人。
