《庚子风云》讲述的是公元1900年及中国历庚子年，八国联军攻占北京，并占领紫禁城，皇太后慈禧为避祸携光绪帝、大阿哥等人仓惶逃离皇宫，来到西安，最后又安全回宫的故事。 慈禧太后临行前，由于政治立场不同的仇恨，将光绪皇帝深爱的妃子珍妃推入井中杀害。而当太后历尽千难万险来到古都西安时，却发现当地戏班的花魁白牡丹竟和珍妃长得一模一样！而这位本名斯琴的白牡丹却与在慈禧太后等人逃难至西安这条西行路上，给予了他们莫大帮助的一位从欧洲留洋五年回国的爱国青年陈然有着夙世姻缘，同时她也和陕西巡抚韩雨轩同样有着千丝万缕的关系。。Jess and Andrea are hiking in the Scottish Highlands.
