背景安排在位于南美小镇上的一间小诊所，故事围绕理想主义者Lily Brenner医生（Caroline Dhavernas饰）和她的友情团队之间展开，他们都是为了逃避心魔的纠缠而远走异国他乡。小诊所的创办人Ben Keeton（Martin Henderson饰）和他的得力助手（Jason George饰）帮助年轻医生学会如何在具有挑战性的环境下挽救生命。。年前，许知意和陆南风大学毕业后，携手一起创业。正当两人事业迎来曙光，憧憬未来的幸福生活时，陆南风却被检查出心脏病，如果不换心脏，将会迎来死亡。许知意为了爱人能活下去，毅然决然选择将自己的心脏换给陆南风，而自己则更换了人工心脏。。Norman, a retired police officer, works as a night security guard in a building. One evening, he surprised Nathalie and Guylain committing a robbery and, after a chase in the building, they manage to escape. Curiously, Nathalie returns to visit Normand a few weeks later asking him for refuge. A special relationship between the two develops and changes the course of their lives....。
