本作は娘を殺された元夫婦の樋口克、澄子と、犯行時に未成年だった加害者・福田夏奈を描く作品。事件から7年後、酒に依存して現実逃避を重ねてきた克のもとに、夏奈に再審の機会が与えられたという通知が裁判所から届く。夏奈を憎み続けている克は澄子とともに法廷に赴くが、夏奈の釈放を阻止するため証言台に立つ克と、つらい過去に見切りをつけたい澄子の感情はすれ違っていく。さらに法廷では、夏奈の口から彼女が殺人に至ったショッキングな動機が明かされる。。In desperate debt to their volatile drug dealer, best friends Denise and Johnny agree to a sketchy job to pay off their last hit - breaking into a decrepit stash house to steal a bag of mysterious drugs.
