格斯·范·桑特和杰昆·菲尼克斯时隔11年再度合作，欲将四肢瘫痪的漫画家约翰·卡拉汉（Joe Callahan）的故事搬上大银幕。卡拉汉12岁就嗜酒成性并滥用药物，21岁的在酒后遭遇车祸四肢瘫痪，之后他开始重建他的生活，最终成为了一位不断超越身体局限的漫画家。。高雄前鎮漁港每年十二月到隔年一月，有近一百艘魷釣船從東經120度航向西經60度，前往西南大西洋漁場的福克蘭群島外海作業，捕釣台灣日常生活中常見的阿根廷魷魚，而這段大約耗時35至40天的枯悶航程，被船員們稱之為——「水路」。2015年1月1日，一艘船身長65米，寬11米的900噸魷釣船，從前鎮漁港啟航，將載著60名來自東南亞各國的船員，前往與台灣時差12小時的福克蘭群島外海作業，影片是關於這群海上勞動者的遠洋討海紀行。。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
