自古以来，生灵万物自出生时就带来了两股能量——幸福的能量和不幸的能量。然而日本的佛女津市这两股能量的平衡却遭到了破坏。神明界掌管幸运与不幸平衡的穷神会派出穷神红叶（内山夕实 饰）下凡到人间调查破坏运气秩序的元凶樱市子（花泽香菜 饰）。16岁的高中生樱市子是一名集美丽、智慧、财力、运动细胞于一身的天生幸运儿，她从出生就不知道什么是努力和失败。红叶用观察幸福与不幸能量值的眼镜看出原来樱市子不仅幸福的能量值大大高于常人，还在不断汲取着别人的幸福能量。红叶断言如果樱市子继续不断吸收别人的幸福能量的话，将会招致身边人变得不幸。于是红叶宣布要废掉樱市子吸收幸福能量的能力并且把她多得离谱的幸福能量还回它们应有的地方……。如果没有那次意外，贺北方应该算是一个功绩显赫的缉毒刑警了，但妻子在车祸中的意外丧生对他的打击是别人不能想象的，他的情绪变得极度低落，以至于在侦破一起特大案件时，由于一时的冲动，失手将一名疑犯打成了重伤。最终案件告破，同事们都立功受奖，惟有他因过失伤人罪被判入狱。从此，贺北方的生活发生了巨大的变化。 其实从始至终，贺北方都不认为自己有罪，因此对判决不服，可又无可奈何。 但在他的内心中，对事业的热爱从未消失过，他发誓如果有机会再穿上警服， 哪怕只有一天，也死而无憾了。 警方一直没有放弃对贺北方的关注，上级给了他一个立功赎罪的机会，派他以一家速递公司为掩护，利用替贩毒集团的头目申冬顶罪而被判入狱的贩毒份子胡秋山为诱饵，深入到贩毒集团做卧底。 在警方的精心部署下，贺北方凭借着从警多年的经验，以及他的机智和干练， 逐步取得了胡秋...。SYNOPSIS Urgently called, the police inspector has arrived in a hotel, and didn't find any crime, but noticed some strangenesses occurring there. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。
