The film was announced as the Turkish submission to the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in September 2009.。出租车司机李诚实借款给杨芳芳，杨芳芳被骗无法还钱，李诚实的女友宋佳催着李诚实装修房子好结婚，李诚实十分为难。杨芳芳咬牙把儿子交给李诚实代管，自己去俄罗斯催款，宋佳不明就里，以为李诚实骗她，围绕着种种误会，剧情有了进一步发展，最后真相大白，宋佳终于回到了李诚实身边，而李诚实与杨芳芳又开始了新一轮合作。。
