故事主要讲述一位朴实平凡却坚毅卓绝的乡村妇女慧兰的一生！在改革开放的初期，因生活所迫，慧兰和丈夫福明不得不背井离乡，带着一双收养的女儿从穷苦的乡村来到繁华都市寻找新的人生。然而，寄人篱下的日子让一家人饱尝世情冷暖，第一胎的不期而来又如雪上加霜，更难预料新生命的诞生之日，竟也是深爱的丈夫与她的永别之时。面对残酷的命运，慧兰选择了坚强和忍耐，凭借巧手慧心，开始“吴记饺子”的风雨人生。。One day, thinking that it will make your wife and friends smile, you shave off the moustache that you have had for the last ten years. Viewers who like their conclusions tidy may rebel, but those who relish outstanding performances in the service of an intriguing idea will be entertained.
