Saura isn’t fond of talking...。在一个狂风暴雨之夜。子时，“天眼”发威，欲扫尽天下妖孽而后快，一只现形的狐狸躲进穷书生王生（高如平 饰）的布袍下得以脱生。数年后，王生官拜侍御，生一子元丰（徐少华 饰），自小痴呆，成年后无人与之谈婚。偶遇一村妇，愿将女儿小翠（魏慧丽 饰）许与元丰为妻，王家大喜。婚后的小翠不守闺训，日常言行异于常人。王给谏（马戈 饰）妒忌王生侍御职权，欲取而代之。小翠知晓后，设计挫败公公的政敌，并用仙术医好了元丰的痴疾。救母恩报完，小翠尊母命准备返回仙界，却也难舍元丰，无奈之下...... 本片根据《聊斋志异》之章节改编。。
