这是一部有趣而甜蜜的青少年电影，讲述了人与马的真挚友情和孩子们对自己将来的思索。美丽的少女莫妮卡和父母一起生活在一个专职育马的农场里，父母送给她一匹小公马“冠军”，作为在学校取得好成绩的奖励。莫妮卡和冠军一起长大，一人一马建立了深厚的友谊，因此，有一天，冠军决定告诉莫妮卡一个天大的秘密。原来马既能听懂人类的语言，也能和人沟通。。重启剧《夏威夷神探 Magnum P.I.》风格上类似《天堂执法者 Hawaii Five-0》，背景同样设在夏威夷，不过主角们是私家侦探，老版在1980-1988年播出。新版由Peter Lenkov及Eric Guggenheim负责剧本﹑林诣彬执导，在这版本主角仍然是四人帮，不过不像旧版都是男性，而是改为三男一女；剧情讲述Thomas Magnum（Jay Hernandez饰）是获授勋的前海豹突击队成员，从阿富汗回国后他把自己的军事技能投放在当私家侦探上，而他的拍档包括前老兵Theodore “TC” Calvin及Orville “Rick” Wright，以及被除名的前MI6特工Juliet Higgins，他们一同调查各种奇怪的案件。 Perdita Weeks饰演Juliet Higgins，是作家Robin Masters的夏威夷...。When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。
