2017年開始，超過70萬人次的羅興亞人為避免緬甸所進行的族群壓迫，而逃亡到鄰近的孟加拉尋求庇護。少部分的羅興亞人，例如卡蘭．穆罕默德在危急生命之際，艱苦地為族群處境發聲。 待在庫圖帕隆難民營的這段時間，他們在詩歌與惡夢的交織下徘徊，也在有限的食物與足球遊戲中等待，期盼一個能夠帶領他們脫離困境的契機。。背景是一个黑帮新旧势力转换期，旧帮会老大因逃避警方而远走台湾，新帮会就趁机做大，更欲取得帮会中的名册作巩固势力，肥豪一人到坤叔家里欲威迫坤交出名册。怎料坤早把名册资料输入电脑磁碟中，暗地交予老大的情妇清。坤夫妇更临危托孤，将独生女玲托清照顾。。Set in 790AD, Vikingane features the daily challenges of people living in a small Viking village, from power struggle, brother rivalry, gender equality, to betrayal and friendship.
