They two are very different: one poor, the other one is rich, one of them writes music and sings, the other one cannot hear or speak… They are united by love for each ...。多年来，贩毒集团活跃于中缅边境，魔爪不断伸向内地，境内外的黑社会恶势力互相勾结疯狂作案猖狂已极，刑警队长钟鼎一次次智破重案。贩毒份子暗地里引诱钟队长的儿子吸毒，使之染上毒瘾。钟鼎身为警察却救不了屡戒屡吸、深染毒瘾的儿子。钟队长的妻子在绝望之下，收买黑道份子与毒贩较量，意欲以黑制黑。这种极端的方式，给刑警队带来了意料之中的麻烦，却也带来了意料之外的收获。在与毒贩的较量中，本应坚守在正义一方的刑警队员熊凯歌为达到个人目的，竟与毒贩勾结，暗中破坏……。
