农村学生李鸣宇考上米国大学，十年后，学成归来，回家清明祭祖的故事脉络展开。 十年前，翠芬身患心脏疾病，李金山恳求岳父救人，治病导致学费不够，至此，李金山费尽千辛万苦凑齐学费，送孩子出国。 然而，李鸣宇在国外十年不回家，村里谣传他犯罪。故事讲述第二次世界大战结束时波兰起义抵抗德国占领的故事。Chico one of the remaining members of The Magnificent Seven now lives in the town that they (The Seven) helped. One day someone comes and takes most of the men prisoner. His wife seeks out Chris, the leader of The Seven for help. Chris also meets Vin another member of The Seven. They find four other men and they go to help Chico.。
