Situations go out of control and our lead pair are thrown into a vortex that they're completely unprepared for...。天下大旱，花果山因为占有水源而深受周边大妖的骚扰，孙悟空与兄弟赤尻马猴为探明干旱真相，也为求一顺手兵器对抗大妖，前往东海竟宝大会寻觅一件趁手武器，却被卷入一场阴谋。为阻止邪龙敖孪毁灭人间，孙悟空在小龙女的帮助下打败敖孪，最终得到如意金箍棒，解决了人间的危机。。影片的创作动机来源于《夜半歌声》与《游园惊梦》两部经典电影。结合中国戏曲元素以及民国风情，配合以人物形象以及性格不相符相互冲突的特点，制造出“惊悚”同时又有黑色幽默的特点。。
