In this bitingly satirical film Peter Slovan, a continuous source of trouble for the film functionaries of the socialist Slovakia, tackles an evergreen topic – the corruptive effects of power. Barnabáš Kos, a triangle player at a symphonic orchestra, is suddenly promoted to serve as the head of the said institution, even though both he and his superiors deem him completely unfit for the task. Encouraged in equal parts by this unexpected recognition and the servile praise of his colleagues, Kos’s modesty starts to gradually vanish. The erstwhile bashful and aloof percussionist quickly becomes aware of the advantages of his new office, and begins to realise his increasingly ludicrous artistic ambitions. Ultimately, the submissive marionette turns into a source of public humiliation, and his astonishing career finds an abrupt end. Orchestra serves here as a microcosm that grotesquely reflects the absurd and tragicomic mechanisms of the paranoid apparatus of power. Eva Näripe。地震过后，一支摄制组来到某个山村准备拍摄影片，导演（默罕默德·阿里·科沙瓦兹 Mohamad Ali Keshavarz 饰）决定一如既往启用非职业演员。巧合的是，饰演男主角的侯赛因（Hossein Rezai 饰）暗恋女主角塔赫莉（Tahereh Ladanian 饰 ）良久。侯赛因出身贫寒，孑然一身；塔赫莉则家境优渥，受过良好的教育。由于彼此间的巨大差别，侯赛因的爱情始终未能开花结果。不过，地震摧毁了塔赫莉的一切，她的家境和侯赛因相差无几。借着拍戏的机会，侯赛因向爱人展开大胆的追求…… 本片荣获1994年芝加哥国际电影节最佳影片奖、1995年新加坡国际电影节最佳导演奖、1994年圣保罗国际电影节影评人奖。。1939年，上海处于'孤岛'时期。上海职业妇女俱乐部在大陆电台举办广播，为筹募难民寒衣的义卖进行宣传。这次义卖是我地下党领导的，义卖的部分收入也将秘密捐给新四军制寒衣。这次活动得到上海各阶层爱国人士的广泛支持和响应。地下党员华素英是上海职业妇女俱乐部主席，她得到中学时代同学、新沪公司郭经理的帮助，借得了义卖场地。汪伪76号特务机关的特务企图摸清义卖的性质而进行破坏，不久，向新沪公司投掷炸弹，迫使郭经理不敢再借场子。此时，女大律师杜金光彩却主动要帮助解决场地，并提出要当义卖的法律顾问，参与义卖款项的支配。华素英识破了杜的阴谋，当场巧妙地回绝了杜金光彩。由于76号特务的破坏，华素英尽管到处奔波，还是借不到场子，最后决定把俱乐部办公室作为义卖会场。义卖会刚一开始，就遭到特务破坏，租界当局以'义卖破坏社会秩序' 为由加以禁止。这时，与华素英相依为命的老母因病...。
