“The Afterparty” is a murder-mystery comedy set at a high school reunion afterparty. Each of the eight episodes will feature a retelling of the same night told through a different character’s perspective, each with its own unique visual format and film genre to match the teller’s personality.。Stand-up comic Deon Cole is set to return to Netflix with a third hour-long comedy special, to premiere later this year. While a title and logline haven’t been shared, he’ll tape his new hour at the LA Theater on May 2nd, as part of Netflix Is A Joke Fest 2024.。
