Working on her fourth in the successful anthology romance series featuring the "in love" characters of Desmond Ranes and Catarina, Izzi Simmons is told by her best friend and editor Mila that the ending of her first draft, already past due, is unacceptable. Mila's take on the problem is that Izzi has made Desmond an unrealistic version of a romantic character in being "perfect"...。A hoax busting group go on a team-building retreat to Whiskey Flats, OR and run into a trouble as they cross paths with an invasive Drilling company that is warring with a very private family.。孙子威（周润发 饰）与梁宝儿（缪骞人 饰）结婚八年，并育有一子，眼下他们的婚姻因孙子威的出轨而处于崩溃的边缘。梁决意离婚，加入了五个同性好友的“单身女性俱乐部”，然而在这些女人表面的恣意之下，却深深潜藏着孤独的痛苦。另一方面，孙子威与情人沙妞（钟楚红 饰）正式同居，二人的关系看似热烈，但孙子威仍然对梁宝儿念念不忘。终于到了协议离婚的时刻，孙子威醒悟自己对前妻难以割舍，遂终止了同沙妞的关系，回到梁宝儿身边，可再次走到一起的两人，并没有理顺生活的所有矛盾…… 本片为香港导演关锦鹏处女作，获当年香港金像奖与金马奖多项提名。。
