Coming from the ...。家中经营药堂的刘诚（冯德伦饰）带着一众乡亲打算到城里发展生意。生意正值兴旺，一场莫名的大火让所有兄弟都失去了生命，刘诚自此一无所有并锒铛入狱。真正的凶手其实是他的助手彭四（黄浩然饰），为了钱竟不择手段。 狱中警察的亲人曾受刘诚慷慨施药，于是请来年轻律师蓝小芊（钟欣桐饰）帮刘诚洗脱罪名。可惜彭四用钱疏通关系，决心要将刘诚置之死地。蓝小芊买通刽子手，希望能在行刑时放走刘诚。 刘诚回到自己的故乡，发现祖屋被毁，妻子女儿过着人不似人的生活。后来，刘诚才被早已发生在自己身上的事吓倒。。
