本片的故事其实从波斯湾战争结束才开始。四名美军因为从伊拉克战俘的屁眼中发现了一张萨达姆秘密碉堡的地图，决定偷偷到碉堡夺取一批抢夺自科威特的黄金，只要此举得手，退伍回国就可以高枕无忧。他们本来以为此行轻而易举，不料各种意外接踵而至。。The plot involves a woman who sets out a well-intentioned plan of bringing together her dysfunctional family in the wake of the family’s matriarch, her mother-in-law.
