故事以游戏为基础，是前作D.C.53年之后的故事。故事中两位女主角朝仓音姬和朝仓由梦是前作主角的孙女，但动画以女主角之一的月岛小恋与主角交往为开头，以游戏剧情的天枷美夏路线为结尾。。《西寧國宅》呈現蔡明亮對於早期社宅的回首凝視，純粹以畫面紀錄將逝的社會場景及流竄的城市謠言，更回看早期作品《海角天涯》與《洞》的歲月痕跡。西寧國宅面臨拆遷之際，如今還住在那的上百戶人家，有什麽想法？有什麽感受？是捨還是不捨？蔡明亮作為一個與西寧國宅有些許因緣的影像創作者，只想好好地再看她一眼。。“The Shakedown” follows the story of Justin Diamond (Carl Beukes), a well-respected medical aid broker who gets mixed up in the Cape Town underworld after his mistress threatens to reveal the secret of their affair.
