This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。多多出生时，母亲不幸难产去世，父亲又因工伤致残，事后选择了自杀。多多因深爱的父亲离他而去导致精神失常，离家出走。多多的奶奶为了使孙子早日回家，在窗户上贴上了纸月亮，当地热心的人知道了此事，也纷纷贴上了纸月亮，盼望多多的归来。。
