This story is based where the skateboard culture is the most foreign, the Midwest. Derrick Cabrera, like all skaters, has a dream of being sponsored and one day going pro. He is an up and coming skater with all the talent but has the world against him. Parents, friends and schoolmates can't understand how Derrick has so much passion for something that has no future in their eye...。一个爱踢足球的英国飞行员在法国上空被击落，被迫降落到法国一户农户家中，飞行员与这家的女儿相爱了。（布尔维尔出演父亲）是个小店铺的老板会做皮革制品 ，待伤愈后送飞行员回到了英国，自己也就回不去了，被飞行员女婿动员去参加特工，后回到法国为盟军服务。。本剧为一廿集中篇处境剧，每集均有独立主题，故事环绕着一妇女团体“八娥会馆”发生，会馆由一群来自中上阶层的女性组成：会长赵关得英(李香琴)、对头人马惠(缃旖)、以夫为荣的贾玉芬(唐丽球)、才女唐咏诗(邱月清)等。这几名女子明争暗斗、互相利用，为大众情人葛德华(邓浩光)而争风呷醋，闹得会馆翻天覆地。
