影片改编自记者塔蒂亚娜尼古列斯库布恩的报告文学。该报告文学讲述了一个在2005年驱魔仪式之后去世的老修女的故事。 　　在影片中，有两个主角，一个叫做阿丽娜，另一个叫做维克琪雅。她们在同一个孤儿院长大。成年之后，维克琪雅觉得修道院是自己心灵的庇护所，于是便去做了一个修女；而维克琪雅则去了德国。她们已经很久没有联系了，但是她们的命运却因为一桩意外而重新连结到了一起。。节目从经典的文艺作品出发，深入艺术之境，深度挖掘其背后的真实人生故事，重新感悟生活之美与艺术之美。。“From Far Away” is a documentary dealing with a journey through Turkey.
