改编自真实事件，本片讲述上世纪四五十年代苏格兰警探William Muncie和连环杀手Peter Manuel之间的猫鼠游戏。Peter Manuel曾经因为入室盗窃和性侵被Muncie警探投入监狱。9年后Manuel出狱后又开始疯狂作案，与此同时Muncie开始收到其寄来的手写卡片。Muncie誓将Manuel抓获。。金贤智（金所炫饰）活着的时候每一天只知道学习，为了高考不断努力着，但是命运很不公平，在高考的前一天贤智突然间发生事故去世了，生命终止在了19岁，由于怀着不能高考的怨念，贤智变成一名能瞬间移动的女鬼，生活在这个世界上。贤智在偶然之间认识了可以看到鬼神的朴奉八（玉泽演饰），并与奉八阴差阳错的打了一架，两人进而相识后，于是贤智就和奉八住在一个屋檐下，开始了“同居”生活，两人同心协力一同追逐鬼神的冒险之旅。。Five friends break into a closed corn maze in the middle of the night and decide to play a harmless game of tag.
